What do I need to bring to class?
What you will need to bring will vary based upon the class:
SOUL Barre – barre "grip" socks, yoga mat (optional) – we've got the rest covered
Barre Flow – yoga mat
Barre BURN – sneakers should be worn for class (don't forget water!)
Barre BOUNCE – barre "grip" socks
ROC Cycle – SPD Cleats (or sneakers if you don't have them) and a water bottle
ROC N' Flow Yoga – yoga mat
How do I register and pay for class?
You can register right on our website by clicking "sign-up now" or do it directly on the MindBody app on your cell-phone.
How early should I arrive?
You should arrive between 10-15 minutes early.
Your instructor will inform you of all equipment you will need for your class and it will be provided. Please arrive promptly, as our doors will be locked at the start of class.
If class is cancelled, how will I know?
You will receive an email from us informing you of any changes, including cancellations.
Your money will be credited towards the purchase of another class.
I'm pregnant, can I participate in classes?
We recommend that you discuss any fitness activity with your doctor to see if it is a good fit for you. We have had many pregnant women participate in our yoga, BARRE Flow, and SOUL Barre classes.
Please give your instructor a heads up so they can provide you with modifications for class.
What should I wear to Barre class?
We recommend comfortable fitness clothing and Barre grip socks (we sell these in our retail area if you don't have any) to insure your safety from slipping and falling.
What is Barre?
Barre classes use isometric micro-movements with high repetition and small range of motion in order to tone the muscles and create lean muscle mass. You will not bulk, but rather firm and tighten.
What is your cancellation policy?
We all have those days when making it to class just isn't going to happen. On those days, please keep our class cancellation policy in mind. Our intent is ensure clients are able to get the most out of their packages and attend as many classes as desired. No Shows and Late Cancels prohibit other clients from attending classes.
We respectfully ask that if you are unable to attend class as registered, please cancel at least 4 hours prior to the start of class. You can cancel your reservation online at our scheduling site (MindBody Online or the MindBody App).
ROC & Soul Fitness's goal with this policy is simply to give more clients the opportunity to take class during our peak hours. Late cancellations or no shows after the cut-off period shall result in either (a) the loss of the class (for those clients with individual class packages) or (b) a charge of $10 to your account (for those clients with monthly memberships).
Inclement weather policy?
In the event of inclement weather, we will cancel classes from time to time in an effort to keep everyone safe. If the Webster Central School District closes, all of our morning/daytime classes will be cancelled. For evening classes, class cancellations will be posted at least two hours prior to the scheduled class.

What's your cancellation / late policy for MELT?
In order to best accommodate all our clients, we require 24 notice to reschedule or cancel your appointment. You can text us at 585-228-5284, email us, or use our booking system to cancel your appointment.
Late arrivals, no shows, cancels or rescheduled appointments without a 24 hour notice will unfortunately be charged 50% of the price of the service.
Members will be charged $25 for massage cancels and $15 for sweat cancels.
What are your MELT hours?
Our hours are appointment based, via MindBody.
How do I book MELT?
You can reserve your sauna or massage directly through our website and the MindBody App.
What type of Massage do you offer?
We offer a relaxation massage, called the MELT Massage. These are 60 minutes in length.
How often can I Sweat?
Come in and try a few sweats and simply practice listening to your body in order to gauge how often you feel comfortable sweating in our infrared sauna treatments.
You may find you can start with one session a week and work your way up to one sweat a day.
What should I wear to Sweat?
Our cabin is private which allows our clients the comfort of wearing yoga clothes, a bathing suit or whatever fits their comfort level in our cabin. We will also provide a towel wrap (should you like to wear it) and towels for during and after your MELT.
Loose clothing is recommended for after your MELT.
Can my child Sweat?
We typically recommend children be over the age of 18, but feel free to email us to see how we may accommodate you.
How should I prepare for a MELT session?
Drink plenty of water – at least 24 ounces – prior to your session. It is important to stay well hydrated before and after your infrared sauna session. Wear loose clothing to change into after the completion of your session.
How many calories can I burn?
Typically, on average, you will burn one calorie per minute.
How long are appointments?
Sessions are 30 minutes. Please be mindful that appointments may be scheduled directly after your session.
Can I MELT with others?
Due to Covid-19, We are currently allowing only one person in each sauna at a time to follow social distancing measures.
If you would like to sweat with a spouse or someone from your household, please email at us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can make accommodations.
How many Sweats can I do in 1 day?
You can do up to one sweat a day. This allows your body a 24 hour turn around time to hydrate and replenish itself.
What can I do in the sauna?
Meditate, day-dream, use your phone etc... in your private cabin or you can listen to your music by using the cabins Blue-tooth (connect your phone).
What should I do after a MELT session?
As long as you stay hydrated, you can go about your daily business after a sweat. However, to fully enjoy your post-sweat MELT, we recommend taking it fairly easy for an hour or so.
Can I shower after?
Currently, at this time, we do not have showers at our studio.
I'm pregnant - Can I Sweat?
Unfortunately, We cannot offer Infrared Sauna sessions to pregnant clients.
How do you sterilize the sauna after?
We sanitize the saunas after every use with disinfectants approved by the EPA List, which are approved for Covid-19. We also use advanced Electrostatic spray technology.
What if I get too hot?
Each infrared sauna allows you to simply exit back into your private room for your own comfort. We also provide cold towels and water if you become dehydrated, dizzy or uncomfortable.
I have a medical condition - Is the sauna safe?
If you have a medical condition, please consult your physician before using an infrared sauna.
